TOUR SCHEDULE

Friday March 30th departing New York City South African Airlines

Saturday March 31st arriving Johannesburg, South Africa at
5:50pm. Overnight at Holiday Inn Garden Court Sandton.

Sunday April 1st Church service in Sandton with African
American settlers. Reception on welcome party.
Depart via motor coach to Heia Safari Ranch for Braai.
Dance performance featuring ethnic dancing representing all
ethnic group in South Africa

Monday April 2nd, the group will visit the township of Alexandria and soweto. Learn about life in South Africa from a Township view lunch at Shebeen.

Tuesday April 3rd, Tour of the most thought provoking sites of Johannesburg, constitution hall, The constitutional hall of South Africa, unique architectural symbols of South Africa Origins center a world class museum on to the Gold reef city for lunch an african fusion style restaurant and then onto the apartheid museum. Overnight capetown.

Wednesday April 4th, 8:00am flight to Capetown transfered to park inn hotel lunch at the Langa township at Lelapa restaurant. After lunch visit the V&A waterfront for a ferry ride to robins island and tour of the prison facilities where nelson Mandela serve most of his twenty seven years in prison, shopping at the water front overnight in Capetown

Thursday April 5th, Full day tour pass through Brooklyn a Whitetownship the onto west coast ostrich farm then a tour of spear wine estate

Friday April 6th, Visit to the Cape Penninsula and the end of the African continent where two ocean meet at Capepoint the Indian and the Atlantic Ocean visit to a colored township African drum spectacular and lunch

Saturday April 7th, visit to district 6, Langa, Kahayelitsha and Guguletu visit to the social institution and self help project witness the unique lifestyle which has evolve in these townships lunch at a township restaurants and an opportunity to interact with township residents nighttime visit to jazz club featuring local artist.

Sunday April 8th , Opptional church service free day and visit to Greenpoint flee market the largest in South Africa shopping at the water front visiting the boardwalk and local Capetown lifestyle

Monday April 9th , Last minute shopping, packing departure from hotel 1pm 3pm flight back to Johannesburg

Tuesday April 10th Arriving JFK 7:15am
